We are looking for a warm, confident and curious Bartender to join Andaz Gold Coast.

The opportunity

n

As a Bartender, you will create thoughtful, engaging experiences across our food and beverage venues.

n

You will prepare classic and contemporary cocktails, share recommendations with confidence and bring the character of Andaz Gold Coast to life through every guest interaction.

n

Whether welcoming locals for an evening drink, creating a signature serve or helping set the rhythm of a busy service, you will play an key role in shaping the atmosphere of the venue.

n

What you will do

n

n
- Prepare and serve cocktails, wine, beer, spirits and non-alcoholic beverages to a consistently high standard.
n
- Welcome guests with warmth and deliver attentive, unscripted service.
n
- Share thoughtful recommendations based on guest preferences.
n
- Build strong knowledge of the beverage menu, ingredients and local influences.
n
- Contribute ideas for seasonal cocktails, signature serves and new beverage experiences.
n
- Maintain a clean, organised and well-stocked bar.
n
- Complete opening and closing duties accurately and efficiently.
n
- Process orders and payments through the point-of-sale system.
n
- Monitor stock levels and assist with stock rotation,



ordering and inventory control.
n
- Follow responsible service of alcohol requirements and all health, hygiene and safety procedures.
n
- Work closely with floor and kitchen colleagues to create a seamless guest experience.
n
- Support events, activations and special service periods when required.
n

Qualifications

n

About you

n

You are approachable, composed and naturally engaging. You enjoy reading the room, connecting with people and creating experiences that feel personal rather than scripted.

n

You will bring:

n

- Previous bartending or beverage service experience.
n
- Sound knowledge of cocktails, spirits, wine and beer.
n
- Strong communication and guest service skills.
n
- Confidence working in a fast-paced environment.
n
- Excellent attention to detail and presentation.
n
- A collaborative and reliable approach.
n
- Curiosity and a genuine interest in beverage culture.
n
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends and public holidays.
n
- A current Responsible Service of Alcohol certificate.
n

Experience within a luxury hotel, premium restaurant, cocktail bar or high-volume venue will be highly regarded.
