Join our onsite maintenance team and play a key role in keeping a busy meat processing facility operating safely and efficiently.

We are seeking a motivated and experienced Electrical Technician to join our team. This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified electrician who enjoys hands‑on work, fault finding, preventative maintenance and working as part of a supportive team.

Key Responsibilities

- Carry out extra‑low voltage (ELV) and low‑voltage (LV) electrical work, including basic electronics breakdown repairs, maintenance and servicing.
- Fault find and diagnose electrical and mechanical equipment.
- Perform preventative and corrective maintenance to minimise downtime.
- Respond to breakdowns and complete repairs in a timely and safe manner.
- Maintain equipment and the facility to a high standard of presentation and functionality.
- Work closely with contractors, staff and other team members while providing a high level of customer service.
- Follow workplace health, safety and compliance requirements.
- Demonstrate a flexible and proactive approach to daily maintenance requirements.

About You

To succeed in this role, you will have:

- Previous electrical maintenance experience, preferably within a high‑paced meat processing or industrial environment.




- Strong electrical and mechanical fault‑finding skills.
- Experience with electrical maintenance, servicing and breakdown repairs.
- Ability to safely use power tools.
- Forklift and EWP/scissor lift experience or licences highly desirable.
- The physical capability to safely move and work around equipment.
- A strong commitment to workplace health and safety.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- A self‑motivated, reliable and responsible approach to work.
- The ability to work effectively in a fast‑paced environment.
