About The Role
The HMO3 Critical Care Resident 2026 position offers diverse critical care training experiences tailored to individual learning needs. We have one position available with the following rotations: Term 1: leave/cover Term2&3: ICU 6 Months Term 4: Hamilton ED. The UHG FACEMs visit Hamilton Base Hospital on a monthly basis and are available weekly to review and discuss cases.
Key responsibilities
- Provide safe, high-quality clinical care in critical care and emergency settings
- Participate in supervised rotations across ICU, Anaesthetics, Emergency Medicine and other core terms
- Engage in ongoing professional development, education and training activities
- Contribute positively to a multidisciplinary team environment
What we're looking for
- Registration with AHPRA
- Minimum PGY3 level clinical experience
- Robust commitment to critical care and emergency medicine training
- Excellent communication, teamwork and professional conduct skills
