Role Description
n Our client a highly experienced and motivated Senior Tax Accountant to join our growing team. Based in the Hills District, this full-time, on-site role offers an excellent opportunity to step into a leadership position, managing both client portfolios and internal staff. You will be expected to work proactively, communicate clearly, and maintain excellence in service delivery-even under pressure.
n Key Responsibilities

n

n
- Independently manage a portfolio of SME clients for all tax and accounting matters
n
- Prepare and review income tax returns and financial statements for companies, trusts, partnerships, and individuals
n
- Provide strategic tax planning and business advice in both Mandarin and English
n
- Handle complex tax issues including FBT, GST, CGT, Division 7A, and transfer pricing
n
- Supervise and review work of junior team members, and lead staff training
n
- Oversee the quality and efficiency of internal workflow and client deliverables
n
- Communicate clearly and professionally with clients, explaining complex tax issues in plain language
n
- Support leadership in refining internal systems and maintaining a strong team culture
n

Qualifications & Experiencenn
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting
n
- CPA or CA qualified (or near completion)
n
- 7+ years of progressive tax experience in public practice or corporate tax
n
- Strong knowledge of Australian tax law; international tax experience is a plus
n
- Experience with FBT, GST, CGT, Division 7A,



and transfer pricing
n
- Fluent in Mandarin and English (essential)
n
- Proficient in Xero, MYOB, LodgeIt, and other cloud-based platforms
n
- Advanced Excel skills
n
