To support our continuing growth, OIG is seeking a highly motivated individual to join the Corporate Trust team who will report to a Senior Manager or Director and work closely with the wider team on daily activities for all corporate trust related matters.

The team provides a diverse range of quality services to fund managers, trustees, responsible entities, non-banks and other clients in the financial services, corporate finance, debt capital markets and other industries. Some of our specific services include:

- Security trustee for structured debt financing
- Retail and Wholesale Custody
- Note trustee for wholesale issues
- Trustee for securitisation transactions
- Escrow
- Agency
- Nominee for bare trust arrangements and staff / employee share plans
- Local agent
- Process agent
- Company secretarial, resident director and corporate governance

Your position

Working closely with the team, you will:

- Assist or manage your own clients and assist with servicing clients across the various services offered by Corporate Trust
- Assist with the on-boarding and integration of new business
- Assist with payments on banking platforms
- Maintain relationships with key clients and services providers
- Negotiate complex structured finance transactions and other transactions across the wider team and products offered




- Liaise with external solicitors, other advisers (e.g. accountants) and clients in connection with transaction documents/structures
- Promote the Corporate Trust services business and its products at industry conferences, seminars and external training courses

About you

The ideal candidate:

- is degree qualified in a relevant area of study;
- holds at least 3 to 5 years of relevant financial services experience;
- RG 146 and/or industry qualifications desirable;
- financial statements review experience;
- risk and compliance experience;
- experience with coaching and training colleagues;
- is collaborative and keen to support a growing team;
- wants to learn and contribute to the success of the team; and
- is an effective communicator.

What you’ll need to succeed

- A Bachelor’s degree or similar desirable - all relevant disciplines welcome (Commerce, Finance, Business, Economics or Law)
- 3-5 years’ experience from a financial services business and good general corporate experience or understanding
- An interest in financial markets
- Be client focused
- Experience in reviewing and negotiating transaction documents across the various services will be highly regarded
- Advanced Excel, Word and PowerPoint skills
- Keen eye for detail
- Must be committed and driven to achieving excellence for clients
- Pro-active and forward thinking
- Excellent written and communication skills
- Highly organised, able to prioritise and can manage multiple tasks with deadlines
- Ability to work independently, under pressure and have initiative
- Fast learner, ability to handle stress in a fast-paced environment
- Able to demonstrate an analytical approach yet provide practical solutions to the business
- The ability to pay strong attention to detail, business acumen and sound judgment
