With continued growth across Queensland, they are seeking an experienced Business Development Manager to develop new business opportunities, strengthen existing customer relationships and drive market share across a defined territory.

This is an opportunity to represent premium engineering solutions while working alongside an experienced team of Engineers, Product Managers and Technical Sales Professionals.

The Opportunity

n

Reporting to the Sales Manager, you'll be responsible for identifying, developing and converting new business opportunities while managing key customer relationships across Queensland.

n

You'll work with OEMs, System Integrators and Industrial End Users to deliver tailored motion and drive solutions that improve operational efficiency, reliability and productivity.

n

Key Responsibilities

n

n
- Develop new business opportunities throughout Queensland
n
- Manage and grow relationships with OEMs, System Integrators and End Users
n
- Identify customer needs and recommend tailored drive and motion solutions
n
- Prepare quotations, proposals and commercial offers
n




- Provide first-level technical advice and application support
n
- Assist with commissioning and product implementation where required
n
- Achieve sales targets through structured territory planning and proactive customer engagement
n
- Collaborate with Engineering, Product Management and Internal Sales teams to deliver exceptional customer outcomes
n
- Travel throughout Queensland to visit customers and develop new business opportunities
n

About You

n

You're a commercially driven sales professional who enjoys building trusted customer relationships and delivering technical solutions.

n

Ideally you'll have:

n

n
- Degree / Diploma in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering or Trade qualifications relevant to the role
n
- Experience selling Variable Speed Drives (VSDs), Geared Motors, Electric Motors or Industrial Automation products
n
- Strong understanding of industrial manufacturing environments
n
- Experience working with OEMs, System Integrators or Industrial End Users
n
- Proven ability to develop new business and grow strategic accounts
n
- A self-motivated, organised and results-driven approach
n
