- Remuneration: $137,608 to $163,427 pa (Academic Level B) (inclusive of $116,280 to $138,097 salary pa, 17% superannuation and leave loading).

Who are we looking for? We are seeking a Implementation Science Research Fellow to join School of Nursing, Faculty of Health. The Healthy & HomED is an Emergency Department (ED) based model of care to improve access to healthcare for people experiencing homelessness. The program involves screening for homelessness at ED reception, assessment of unmet needs using the Homeless Health Access to Care Tool and connecting patients with appropriate hospital and community services. Through multi-site, multi-state and cross sector collaboration, the hybrid step-wedge randomised controlled trial seeks to evaluate the effectiveness of the model in reducing ED re-attendances, ED attendance (e.g., length of stay, triage), service referrals and impact on health and social outcomes.

What You Need To Succeed
- Completion of a doctoral qualification, preferably in a health-related discipline, with a focus on health services research.
- Demonstrated expertise in implementation science, including experience designing and conducting research using recognised frameworks and mixed methods approaches.
- Demonstrated experience conducting implementation research or rigorous hybrid trial evaluation in complex health service settings.
- Proven experience developing research proposals and writing reports, conference papers and peer-reviewed articles.
- Highly developed interpersonal and communication skills including the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders, and prepare clear and concise reports, plans, correspondence and other relevant documentation using a range of computer applications.
- Demonstrated commitment to equity, diversity and Indigenous Australian engagement.
