In-House Counsel - Franchise

Love franchising but want to move closer to the business?

We're seeking a commercially minded lawyer to join a growing national franchise organisation in a genuine in-house role. Working closely with senior leadership, you'll provide practical legal advice across franchising, commercial contracts, compliance, governance and dispute management while helping support the growth of a national franchise network.

What You'll Do

- Advise on franchising, commercial and regulatory matters.
- Draft and negotiate franchise agreements, disclosure documents and commercial contracts.
- Support franchise renewals, transfers, onboarding and compliance.
- Manage disputes, risk and governance matters.
- Partner with operational and executive stakeholders on strategic business initiatives.

About You

- Admitted Australian lawyer with an unrestricted practising certificate, 4+ Years PAE
- Experience in franchising and commercial law, either in-house or private practice.
- Strong understanding of the Franchising Code of Conduct and Australian Consumer Law.
- Commercially focused,



pragmatic and confident dealing directly with stakeholders.
