Independent Foodservice Sales Representative – Johnny Retro

Johnny Retro is looking for an energetic, well-connected independent sales representative to help us grow our foodservice business across Melbourne.

Born from our Melbourne retro food truck business, Johnny Retro is an Australian made range of Signature Sauces, Salts & Rubs, created from the same recipes and flavours we developed and served to customers for years. Our foodservice range is now ready to go and we're looking for the right person to help us get it into the hands of more chefs, cafés, burger shops, pubs, restaurants, caterers, takeaway venues and hospitality businesses.

The opportunity

This is not a traditional 9-to-5 sales position. We're looking for an Independent Sales Agent, who is a self-motivated salesperson and who enjoys opening doors, building relationships and developing their own customer base. You'll introduce Johnny Retro to foodservice customers, organise samples, follow up prospects, open current accounts and help those accounts grow.

This would particularly suit

- An independent sales agent already representing complementary brands
- An experienced foodservice or FMCG sales representative
- A former chef, venue manager or hospitality professional with strong industry connections




- Someone with an established network of cafés, restaurants, pubs, burger venues or caterers
- An entrepreneurial salesperson looking to build an income stream alongside a growing Australian brand.

This is an independent, commission-based opportunity, so we're looking for someone comfortable generating their own leads and building a territory rather than someone seeking a conventional salaried sales role.
