2:1 FIFO – WA Goldfields Process Plant Refurbishment | Licensed & Provisional Roles Available
About the Opportunity
Elcore Electrics is seeking Industrial Electricians and Provisional Electricians to join our team on a long-term 2:1 FIFO project in the WA Goldfields.
This is a brownfields and greenfields process plant refurbishment involving electrical upgrades and commissioning within an operating plant environment. We are building a core team for ongoing project delivery — this is not short-term shutdown work.
Scope of Works
- LV distribution and infrastructure upgrades
- MCC modifications and terminations
- Cable installation, ladder and tray work
- Brownfields tie-ins and plant integration works
- Commissioning support
- Site readiness works and NPI infrastructure, including reverse osmosis (RO) systems, wastewater treatment and borefield electrical works
Licensed Electricians — $85–$90/hr flat rate You'll be running the licensed work: terminations, testing, fault-finding, commissioning support and supervision of provisional trades.
Rate
- $85/hr flat, commensurate with experience and tickets held
- $90/hr for candidates with HV Switching experience and additional relevant qualifications
- Superannuation paid on all hours worked
What you'll need:
- WA Electrical Licence
- Mining / heavy industrial experience
- Strong fault-finding and installation capability
- Ability to read and interpret drawings
- Process plant experience highly regarded
Provisional Electricians — $60–$65/hr flat rate This role is focused on installation works — cable ladder and tray installation, containment, cable hauling, mechanical installation and equipment setting, working under the direct supervision of our licensed tradespeople at all times.
Rate
- $60–$65/hr flat, depending on experience and tickets held
- Superannuation paid on all hours worked
What you'll need:
- Current WA provisional electrician's licence, or eligibility to hold one
- Willingness to work under the direct supervision of a licensed electrician at all times, in line with EnergySafety WA requirements
- Sound trade fundamentals and a strong safety mindset
- Ability to read and interpret drawings
- Industrial, mining or construction site experience an advantage
Tickets & Qualifications (both roles)
Mandatory
- Working at Heights (WAH)
- EWP – above 11 metres
- LVR / CPR
- 2:1 FIFO roster – WA Goldfields
- Flat hourly rates + superannuation
- Provisional electricians paired with and directly supervised by experienced licensed trades
