Job requirements

You are an experienced Information Manager with strong capability in information management, governance and system implementation. Structured and analytical, you are confident working across complex environments to solve information challenges and improve current ways of working.

You are an approachable and collaborative communicator who can engage stakeholders across multiple functions, lead discussions, challenge existing practices and help embed improved processes. You bring proven experience in information management or Document Management Systems transformation, including governance, metadata and lifecycle management.

Job responsibilities

You will lead the design and delivery of a fit-for-purpose information management solution, ensuring that critical information is accurate, controlled, and accessible across the organisation.

Working closely with stakeholders across operations, engineering and corporate teams,



you will define current state processes, identify gaps and develop a future state operating model with clear standards and practical ways of working.

You will gather and translate business requirements into system and process solutions, supporting the selection and implementation of a document control system and broader information management capabilities.

A key focus of the role will be establishing consistent approaches to document control, metadata and information management, while supporting risk management and safe operational practices.

In addition, you will lead stakeholder engagement and change activities, facilitating workshops, driving adoption, and embedding new ways of working to improve how information is managed across the business.

What You'll Need

- 5+ years’ experience managing end-to-end Information Management or Document Management System transformations, from system selection through to implementation and adoption.
- Previous experience within energy or infrastructure desired but not essential
- Strong knowledge of information management principles, including governance, metadata, lifecycle, and document control practice
- Experience in requirements gathering,



process mapping, and translating business needs into system and process solutions
- Demonstrated ability to engage and influence stakeholders, with strong facilitation capability across diverse teams
- Ability to solve complex problems and challenge existing ways of working to deliver improved outcomes
- Understanding of Document Management Systems platforms and broader information management technologies
- Strong communication skills with an approachable style and the ability to build effective relationships
- A team player who collaborates effectively and supports shared outcomes
- Practical, proactive mindset with the ability to drive delivery and embed change
