Are you an experienced ICT Support professional looking for your next Federal Government opportunity?

We’re seeking an experienced Service Desk Officer to join a Federal Government department and provide high-quality ICT support to users.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys hands-on ICT support, troubleshooting, customer service and ICT project delivery within a government setting.

What You'll Be Doing

- Provide frontline ICT support across hardware, software, network, account and device issues
- Triage, resolve and escalate incidents and service requests within agreed SLAs
- Administer user accounts, devices, software and ICT asset records
- Support ICT projects, upgrades, testing, rollouts and implementation activities
- Liaise with internal stakeholders, vendors and service providers
- Provide hands-on support and maintenance of user and building ICT hardware
- Identify recurring issues and contribute to ICT service and process improvements

To be successful, you will have:
- Current Australian Government Baseline security clearance – essential




- Strong troubleshooting experience across Microsoft on-premises and cloud environments
- Excellent communication skills with technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Strong analytical, problem-solving and decision-making skills
- Experience supporting ICT projects and operational activities
- Understanding of ICT security, governance and compliance requirements
- Active Directory – on-premises and Azure AD / Microsoft Entra ID
- Understanding of ITIL principles
