About the Position

With an established Design Studio and talented team of Interior Designers, we are looking to appoint an experienced Design Studio Manager to lead the next evolution of its design function.

- Management of a team of Interior Designers
- Providing leadership creative direction and product development initiatives
- Driving Display home program and special projects
- Ensure Design studio remains connected with broader sales, procurement and construction functions
- Ensure studio is keeping ahead of design trends and changing customer expectations

About the Successful Candidate This opportunity will suit an experienced Design Studio Manager / Interior Design Manager ready to take ownership of a sizeable team and established Studio environment.

You will bring a combination of creative capability and strong people leadership, with the commercial and operational understanding to work effectively across multiple areas of a residential building business.

Ideally, you will have:





- Minimum 8 years experience in residential Interior Design
- Experience working with a major builder and experience in a Studio Manager position
- Proven track record leading, mentoring and developing a team
- Strong knowledge of residential design trends, products, finishes and customer selections
- Experience working with suppliers and contributing to product development
- Strong stakeholder management skills across sales, procurement and construction functions
- A proactive approach to researching trends and continually evolving a design offering
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
- A genuine passion for developing people and creating a positive, connected team culture
