Investment Analyst | Structured Credit

Sydney | Private Credit Fund An established and growing private credit fund is seeking an Investment Analyst to join its Structured Credit team.

Working alongside experienced investment professionals, you'll play a key role in the structuring, execution and ongoing management of residential mortgage-backed securities (RMBS) and asset-backed securities (ABS) transactions. This is an excellent opportunity to join a high-performing investment team and gain exposure across the full transaction lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

- Assist with the structuring and execution of RMBS and ABS transactions.
- Financial modelling and transaction analysis.
- Credit and collateral analysis.
- Support due diligence, execution and settlement processes.
- Prepare investment papers and committee submissions.
- Monitor portfolio performance and market developments.
- Liaise with banks, legal advisers, rating agencies and other transaction stakeholders.





About You We're interested in candidates with approximately 2–5 years' experience from one of the following backgrounds:
- Treasury within a non-bank lender.
- Structured Finance or Securitisation team within a bank.
- Private credit fund with exposure to RMBS and ABS transactions.
- Structured credit, debt capital markets or securitisation advisory experience.

You will ideally possess:
- Strong financial modelling and analytical capability.
- An understanding of structured finance, securitisation and fixed income markets.
- Excellent commercial judgement and attention to detail.
- Relevant tertiary qualifications in finance, commerce, economics or a related discipline.
