About the role

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented System Administrator to join our team. The primary responsibility of this role is to support and maintain our organization’s IT infrastructure, ensuring seamless operations across servers, networks, user accounts, and security systems. This is an exciting opportunity for a tech-savvy individual to contribute to a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

Key responsibilities

- Server Management: Perform backups and restorations, manage user accounts, permissions, and access controls, and oversee printer installations and configurations.
- Desktop Systems: Handle software installations, remote access, equipment setup and decommissioning, and resolve hardware/software issues. Provide basic programming support for tools like Access and Word Macros, and identify training needs for users.
- Network Maintenance: Maintain routers, switches, network connections, and external access. Coordinate cabling and patch lead installations.
- Help Desk Support: Provide phone and email support to users and liaise with corporate IT to resolve issues.
- QAD System Management: Maintain user and menu access,



and coordinate technical changes with corporate IT.
- Other Duties: Ensure a clean and organized computer facility, coordinate hardware repairs, maintain hardware/software/license registers, document system configurations, and assist in developing IT policies and capital budgets.

About you You are a proactive and solutions-focused IT professional who enjoys problem-solving and working across a broad range of technologies.

You will ideally bring

- Experience in IT support, systems administration, or infrastructure support.
- Knowledge of Windows Server and/or Linux environments.
- Understanding of networking fundamentals including TCP/IP, DNS, and DHCP.
- Robust troubleshooting and communication skills.
- The ability to manage competing priorities and work independently.
- Experience with virtualization technologies such as VMware or Hyper-V would be highly regarded.
