- Schedule: 5 on / 5 off days | 4 days on / 4 days off | 12-hour shifts (6:00 AM – 6:00 PM)

About The Role
n
n
- As a CBRE Data Center Technician, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the operational integrity of our critical infrastructure.
n
- You will be responsible for performing preventative maintenance and corrective repairs within a data centre operation, ensuring the seamless operation of critical systems.
n
- Oversight of electrical and mechanical systems, including but not limited to: Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS) systems, generators, chillers, Electrical Distribution, HVAC systems, Building Management Systems (BMS) systems, and CMMS Work Dispatching.
n
- This position is part of the Critical and Technical Services job function, focusing on delivering technical maintenance services in high‐stakes client environments.

What You'll Do
n
n
- Conduct daily site inspections of all Mechanical & Engineering systems and technical equipment, including servicing and maintenance tasks.
n
- Ensure that the site's environmental conditions are conducive to a safe and productive work environment.
n
- Respond promptly to Building Management System alarms and perform emergency repairs as necessary.
n
- Collaborate with third‐party vendors to ensure compliance with company‐developed processes, procedures, and all applicable laws and regulations.
n
- Notify management if subcontractor performance does not meet the requirements outlined in the Master Service Agreement.
n
- Execute planned preventative maintenance (PM) and reactive maintenance on all equipment.
n
- Monitor the Building Management System for running and alarm conditions, addressing HVAC‐related client issues.
n
- Perform building walkthroughs, taking meter readings from UPS, PDUs, and utilities.
n
- Address facility and plant faults and defects with effective solutions.
n
- Complete assigned work following established processes and procedures, adhering to all safety protocols and regulatory requirements.
n
- Conduct routine quality checks to maintain comprehensive maintenance records.
n
- Complete all required training to ensure the successful completion of job‐related responsibilities.
n
- Utilize existing procedures to solve straightforward problems with limited discretion.
n
- Deliver results by following defined procedures and processes under close supervision and guidance.

What You'll Need
n

- Valid NSW Electrical Licences
n
- Minimum Certificate III qualification Electrotechnology Electrical
n
- 3–5 years of experience in relevant field services / maintenance of complex critical environment infrastructure or Data Center
n
- Valid OH&S; / White cards – optional
n
- Additional technical training or certifications (advantageous)
n
- Valid Driver's Licence
n
- Familiarity with CMMS and BMS systems – nice to have
n
- Australian Citizenship – required for NV1 Clearance
n
