Our Commercial Supply Chain department is seeking a detail oriented and proactive Distribution Assistant to join our distribution team, based at our Bundamba Warehouse on a 12 month fixed‐term appointment. Our warehouse is newly built, air conditioned premises equipped with onsite parking and conveniently located to public transportation.

Reporting to the Distribution Team Leader, the Distribution Assistant will be responsible for ensuring the smooth and productive flow of products from our warehouse to customers. This role plays a crucial role in organising, packing and shipping orders accurately and timely.

Key responsibilities for this role include

n

n
- Assist in the picking, packing, and labelling of products for shipment.
n
- Ensure accuracy and completeness of all orders before they are dispatched.
n
- Material handling activities including unloading of trucks and containers.
n
- Maintain a clean and organised warehouse setting.
n
- Assist in inventory management and stock replenishment activities.
n
- Collaborate with other team members to streamline distribution processes and improve efficiency.
n
- Always adhere to GMP and safety procedures and guidelines.
n

The ideal candidates considered for this role are

n

n
- Current forklift ticket is desirable.
n
- Recently completed high school certification; or
n
- A seasoned Warehouse worker; or
n
- Individuals keen to learn more about Warehousing, Manufacturing & Distribution within the Pharmaceutical sector; or
n
- An individual with strong administrative background proficient in using different technology and software.
n

The minimum qualifications for this role are

n

n
- It is a necessity that the candidate has a current forklift license.




n
- Previous experience in a warehouse or distribution environment is preferred but not required.
n
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
n
- Experience working with Microsoft suite – particularly excel is highly desirable.
n
- Current Forklift Ticket is preferred but not required – Viatris will cover the affiliate cost of this if not currently in possession following completion of your probationary period.
n
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast‐paced environment.
n
- Must be eligible to work in Australia (Australian Citizen or appropriate Visa holder)
n
- Positive communication and teamwork skills.Ability to lift moderately heavy objects and stand for extended periods.
n
