Job Description
Planit are seeking an experienced Financial Analyst to join a

Description:
n
Reporting to
n
the Commercial Manager, to join our dynamic, face paced, friendly
n
finance team you will be responsible for engaging and partnering with
n
internal teams to assist in the development of analysis and corporate
n
reporting, while assisting in the ongoing improvement of value-adding
n
information in line with business strategies. Deliver insights to the
n
senior management,
lead ad hoc projects and business partner with key
n
stakeholders throughout the business to deliver strategic initiatives.
n

n
deadlines, looking for opportunities for process improvement. With
n
advanced problem solving and communication skills, you will have the

ability to identify issues, make recommendations and communicate with

stakeholders at all levels in the organisation. You will be supported

and mentored by senior team members and have a keen desire to ensure all
n
deadlines are met. The successful candidate will have a proven history
n
of meeting tight deadlines and a can-do attitude
n
Responsibilities:
n
n
- Prepare and maintain business analysis & modelling using Power BI
n
- Understanding our commercial opportunities, associated costs, and impact to the overall business financial metrics
n
- Develop dashboards that management with timely reporting on key performance indicators
n
- Deliver presentations with value-adding insights and analysis in a concise and timely manner
n
- Support revenue and cost forecasting/budgeting
n
- Building and maintaining robust stakeholder relationships internally and externally
n
- Overseeing and ensuring robust reporting processes are in place, then work with other Accountants and the Commercial Manager & Financial Controller to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting
n
- Other ad-hoc tasks as required.
n
n
Mandatory Skills & Experience:
n
n
- 2-3 years experience working in Corporate Finance environment
n
- Tertiary qualifications in Accounting, Commercial or equivalent
n
- Qualified CPA/CA or equivalent strongly preferred
n
- Strong technical aptitude with a working knowledge of Analytical & Reporting tools i.e., Power BI
n
- Advanced knowledge of excel and DAX functions with the ability to manipulate large amounts of raw data from multiple sources
n
- Demonstr track record of working with and servicing internal stakeholders
n
- Enthusiastic self-starter who thrives in a team focussed on delivering outcomes, and driving efficiencies in a changing environment
n
- Experience in managing competing priorities, meeting deadlines, and demanding ensuring high quality outcomes
n
- Stringent with accuracy in numbers, with proven ability to then provide and communicate valuable insights.
