The Audit Manager will lead and manage audit engagements for a diverse client base at the RSM Adelaide office, ensuring the delivery of high quality audit services in compliance with professional standards and regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities
n

- Identify and address technical accounting and audit issues.
n
- Perform reviews of audit work and financial statements, ensuring compliance with Australian Accounting and Auditing Standards.
n
- Prepare reports and opinions for clients, summarising key areas of the engagement for the partner.
n
- Ensure completion of each assignment to a high quality standard, within budget and on or before deadlines.
n
- Conduct multiple audit engagements simultaneously with various engagement team members.
n
- Negotiate fees with partners and demonstrate commercial responsibility for profitability of each client.
n
- Contribute to meetings and make effective presentations to staff and clients.
n
- Assist in management and coordination of the audit team, including training, mentoring and methodology compliance.
n
- Monitor staffing requirements and future resource planning issues.
n
- Assist partners in business development and marketing activities.
n
n
About You
n
n
- 5-7 years of audit experience.
n
- Strong communication skills.
n
- Strong attention to detail and prioritising skills.
n
- Problem solving and decision making skills.
n
- Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team.
n
- Detailed working knowledge and application of the Corporations Act, Australian Accounting and Auditing Standards and other applicable legislation.
