Volunteer Opportunities at Calvary Mt. Carmel

- Companionship – friendly social visits with residents, conversations or walks

- Lifestyle activities – board games, music, craft, art and social engagement

- Social outings – accompanying residents on bus trips

- Gardening – assisting residents with gardening activities

- Meal times – assisting and supporting residents during meal times

Calvary Mt. Carmel at Maitland offers accommodation for 41 aged care residents, including a memory support unit. There are also 18 independent living units on site. Volunteers have always played a vital part in resident care by complementing the care provided by our staff. By volunteering at Calvary Mt. Carmel you become part of a legacy built on compassion and service. Your presence, time and kindness can brighten lives and create meaningful connections for our residents and their family members.
