Our client is a specialist plaintiff personal injury firm with a strong presence across the East Coast, including modern offices in the Brisbane CBD and the Gold Coast. Acting exclusively for injured people on a no win – no fee basis, the firm runs matters including:

- Motor vehicle and CTP claims
- Workers compensation and workplace incident claims
- Public liability matters
- Institutional abuse claims
- TPD and general insurance disputes

About the Position

Due to ongoing growth, our client is looking for a confident and ambitious Plaintiff Personal Injury Lawyer to join the team in either the Brisbane CBD or Gold Coast.

You will manage a plaintiff-side personal injury portfolio with a focus on:

- CTP / motor vehicle accident claims
- Workers compensation matters
- Public liability files
- The potential to gain exposure to institutional abuse and TPD claims, if of interest

Working closely with a Partner and Senior Lawyers (including Accredited Specialists in Personal Injury Law), you will:

- Run your own files from initial interview through to settlement, with appropriate support
- Handle a steady but manageable load of high-quality matters rather than volume churnDraft pleadings, liability and quantum advices, and negotiate resolutions
- Attend conferences, mediations and settlement negotiations
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, medical providers and referrers

This role is ideal for someone with 3+ years PAE in plaintiff personal injury who wants to take the next step, refine their advocacy and negotiation skills, and grow towards a senior role with clear progression.



More experienced candidates are strongly encouraged to apply.

Korean language skills are highly regarded but not essential. If you speak Korean, there is genuine scope to help expand our client’s reach within the Korean-speaking community and build your own profile.

Key Requirements

- Admitted as a Solicitor in Australia and holding (or able to obtain) a practising certificate
- Approximately 3+ years PAE in plaintiff personal injury
- Experience across CTP, workers compensation or public liability claims (any mix considered)
- Strong file management, time management and organisational skills
- Confident communicator with empathy for injured clients
- Interest in business development and building referrer networks
- Comfortable working both autonomously and as part of a collaborative team
- Korean language skills highly regarded but not essential
