Orange Health Service is seeking Locum Obstetrics and Gynaecology Registrars to support upcoming roster vacancies across several blocks.
This role is suited to an O&G; Registrar with recent experience who is confident supporting antenatal, maternity and gynaecology presentations, clinical reviews, documentation and escalation of care when required.
Shifts will be rostered according to service needs and may include evening, weekend and on-call work.
Available Blocks
- 6-week block available from 19 October 2026 to 29 November 2026
- Shorter blocks also available across December 2026 and January 2027
- Doctors can express interest in one or multiple blocks depending on availability
Clinical Environment
- Obstetrics and Gynaecology Registrar role
- Regional hospital setting at Orange Health Service
- Roster may include day, evening, weekend and on-call shifts
- Supportive hospital environment with escalation pathways available
- Suitable for doctors with recent O&G; registrar-level experience
Key Duties
- Support O&G; clinical cover
- Review and manage antenatal, maternity and gynaecology presentations
- Complete clinical documentation and handover
- Escalate patient concerns appropriately
- Work collaboratively with medical, midwifery, nursing and allied health teams
Eligibility Criteria
- Current AHPRA Registration
- Recent O&G; registrar-level experience
- Strong communication and clinical documentation skills
- Ability to work safely within scope and elevate appropriately
- Current CV, references and compliance documents as required
