About the Role
n
As Service Engineer you will report to the Service Team Leader. Working as part of a high performing team, you will be responsible for the servicing of a wide range of packaging, inspection and food processing equipment. Our QLD office is based in Mount Gravatt and there is a requirement to complete site work, most sites are in the Brisbane metro area with some intra & interstate travel. We have a team of 4 service technicians in Brisbane with additional technicians in VIC and QLD.

Key responsibilities include:
n
n
- Installation, commissioning, and maintenance of wide range of packaging and food processing equipment.
n
- Diagnosing and repairing automated packaging, inspection and food processing equipment.
n
- Maintaining constant communication and updates on job statuses with various stakeholders.
n
- Compiling installation and service reports.
n
- Identifying faults or improvement ideas and discuss with engineering to provide high quality solutions for our customers.
n
- Maintaining strict deadlines for project installations and handovers.
n
- Providing customer training and support.
n

About you
n
To succeed in this role, you are a proactive, reliable, and resilient service professional who has a passion for finding solutions.
This role needs to coordinate with internal teams to efficiently deliver service solutions (installation, commissioning, and maintenance) of our leading solutions. Other essential requirements are:
n
n
- Trade qualified Fitter Turner or Machinist, ideally with at least 5 years post trade experience.
n
- Restricted Electrical Licence/electrical circuit troubleshooting experience will be ideal, but not essential as training will be provided.
n
- At least 5 years field support experience (preferably with food processing equipment).
n
- Ability to read and interpret mechanical engineering drawings (AutoCAD experience advantageous)
n
- Ability to read and interpret pneumatic drawings.
n
- IT skills and proficient use of MS Word and Excel.
n
- Ability to interface with HMI/Software on various OEM equipment.
n
- Excellent and professional customer service skills.
n
- Detail orientated and skilled in precision adjustments within tight tolerances, ensuring accuracy through validation and quality control.
n
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with a willing mind to learn current technologies and develop recent skills.
n
- Strong organisation and time management skills.
n
- A valid Australian Driver and Forklift license.
n
- Australian Permanent Residency.
n
