Role Description This full-time remote role of IT Support Officer / Junior IT Support Officer is responsible for providing day-to-day technical assistance to internal users. The role includes responding to support tickets, diagnosing and resolving hardware and software issues, and ensuring desktop computers and peripheral devices, including printers, are functioning effectively.

The IT Support Officer / Junior IT Support Officer will perform troubleshooting over remote access tools, maintain documentation of incidents and resolutions, and escalate complex issues when necessary. The role also involves supporting routine system updates, monitoring basic IT infrastructure health, and contributing to a reliable, secure technology environment for the consulting team.

Qualifications

- Robust technical support and troubleshooting skills, with the ability to diagnose and resolve common user issues efficiently.
- Foundational knowledge of information technology concepts, including operating systems, user account management,



and basic networking.
- Hands-on experience supporting desktop computers, laptops, and common office software tools.
- Practical experience providing printer support, including installation, configuration, and resolving connectivity or print quality issues.
- Clear and professional communication skills, with the ability to explain technical information in an accessible way.
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment, manage time effectively, and prioritize multiple support requests.
- Attention to detail and a systematic approach to documenting issues, solutions, and recurring problems.
- Relevant certification or coursework in IT support or related fields (e.g., CompTIA A+, ITIL fundamentals) is beneficial.
- Previous experience in a helpdesk, service desk, or junior IT support role is an advantage but not strictly required.
