Junior Business Analyst / Graduate Business AnalystRole DescriptionWe are seeking an analytical, curious, and structured Junior Business Analyst / Graduate Business Analyst to bridge the gap between business needs and technical solutions across core operational projects. In this entry-to-junior position, you will work closely with Business Analysts, Product Owners, Systems Architects, Project Managers, and Department Leads to gather business requirements, evaluate existing processes, and document workflow specifications. You will be responsible for mapping current state (As-Is) and future state (To-Be) business processes, assisting in functional testing, preparing data insights, and drafting clear user stories or business requirement documents (BRDs).

Responsibilities include organizing stakeholder discovery sessions, analyzing operational datasets, identifying process bottlenecks, assisting in User Acceptance Testing (UAT), and maintaining central project documentation. Success in this position requires a keen diagnostic mindset, high attention to detail, proficiency with data visualization and flowcharting tools, explicit written and verbal communication, and a proactive willingness to learn diverse business operations.

Qualifications

- Education: Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Business Administration, Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Analytics, Finance, or a related quantitative field.
- Requirements Elicitation & • Analysis:

Foundational understanding of business analysis frameworks, requirements gathering techniques, user story creation, and drafting functional/non-functional requirements documentation.




- Process Mapping & • Flowcharting:

Hands-on experience or academic familiarity with business process mapping tools (e.g., Microsoft Visio, Lucidchart, Miro, or Draw.io) to construct BPMN diagrams and process flowcharts.
- Data Analytics & • Visualization:

Proficiency in using Microsoft Excel / Google Sheets (VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, conditional logic) and exposure to business intelligence platforms (Power BI, Tableau, or Looker) to analyze operational trends.
- Testing & • Quality Assurance Support:

Familiarity with User Acceptance Testing (UAT) workflows, test scenario creation, edge-case documentation, and tracking bug resolution alongside QA and development teams.
- Agile & • SDLC Methodology:

Basic understanding of software delivery frameworks (Agile, Scrum, or Waterfall) and project tracking software (e.g., Jira, Confluence, Asana, or Trello).
- Problem Solving & • Systems Thinking:

Strong logical reasoning to identify root causes of operational inefficiencies, evaluate business risks, and propose actionable, technology-driven solutions.

Capability to conduct structured interviews with business users, active listening skills, and the ability to translate complex technical jargon into clear business language.
