Role Description The Junior Data Analyst role is a part-time position based in Sydney, NSW, with a hybrid work arrangement that combines in-office collaboration and some work from home. In this role, the Junior Data Analyst supports data collection, cleaning, and validation to ensure accurate and reliable information for business decision-making.

Day-to-day tasks include preparing basic reports and dashboards, assisting with data modeling and statistical analysis, and interpreting data trends to provide clear insights to internal stakeholders. The role also involves documenting analytical processes, maintaining data records, and communicating findings in a clear and structured way.

Analyst will collaborate with product, operations, and customer-facing teams to help optimize Astra Applications’ digital solutions.

Qualifications





- Candidates should possess strong Analytical Skills and foundational Data Analytics capabilities.
- Candidates should possess knowledge of Statistics and basic Data Modeling techniques.
- Candidates should possess transparent and professional Communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Familiarity with data visualization tools (e.g., Excel, Power BI, Tableau) and spreadsheet software is beneficial.
- Coursework or practical experience in data science, mathematics, computer science, business, or a related field is preferred.
- Ability to work accurately with data, manage multiple tasks, and collaborate effectively in a hybrid work environment.
- Interest in learning new analytical tools and methods, and in contributing to technology-driven business solutions.
