Join a busy and dynamic kitchen where no two days are the same. As a Junior Sous Chef , you'll be responsible for running your section, delivering consistently high-quality meals, maintaining food safety standards and supporting the wider kitchen team. Working alongside experienced chefs, you'll play an key role in creating great dining experiences while continuing to develop your culinary skills.

What You'll Be Doing

· Preparing, cooking and presenting high-quality dishes in line with menu specifications.

· Taking ownership of your allocated section and ensuring smooth service during busy periods.

· Working closely with the Head Chef to deliver a consistent, high-quality dining experience.

· Assisting with stock rotation, food storage and receiving deliveries.





· Maintaining the highest standards of food safety, cleanliness and kitchen presentation.

· Ensuring dietary requirements and special requests are prepared accurately.

· Supporting and mentoring junior kitchen team members where required.

· Helping to minimise waste and maintain an organised, efficient kitchen.

What We're Looking For

· Strong cooking skills and confidence across a variety of cooking techniques.

· A genuine passion for producing quality food and delivering consistent results.

· Sound knowledge of food safety, hygiene and kitchen compliance requirements.

· The ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.

· Strong organisational and time management skills.

· A positive attitude and the ability to work collaboratively within a team.

Essential Requirements

· At least 2 years' experience in a professional kitchen.

· Certificate III in Commercial Cookery (or equivalent qualification).

· Current Food Safely and Food Allergens Certificate, or willingness to obtain.

· Experience in a high-volume kitchen environment will be highly regarded.
