Role Description The Key Account Manager role is a full-time, on-site position based in Perth, WA. This role is responsible for managing and growing strategic customer relationships, particularly key accounts in the mining, agriculture, and industrial sectors. Day-to-day tasks include developing account plans, identifying current business opportunities, coordinating proposals, and ensuring customer satisfaction through responsive support and effective problem-solving.
The Key Account
Manager will collaborate closely with engineering,
operations, and commercial teams to deliver integrated solutions, negotiate contracts, and monitor performance against agreed targets. The role also involves regular client meetings, reporting on account performance, and contributing insights to improve UON’s service offerings and market position.
Qualifications
- Strong Account Management and Key Accounts experience, including managing strategic relationships and driving account growth.
- Solid Analytical Skills and Business Planning capabilities to interpret data, forecast demand, and develop effective account strategies.
- Proven Customer Service skills with a focus on building trust, resolving issues promptly, and maintaining high client satisfaction.
- Experience in mining, energy, water, or industrial sectors is highly beneficial.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to work on-site, collaborate across disciplines, and manage multiple priorities.
- Relevant tertiary qualification in business, engineering, or a related field is preferred.
