Are you passionate about early childhood education and seeking versatile, meaningful employment?
We are seeking caring and qualified Kindergarten Teacher to join us in delivering a high-quality educational program that supports positive outcomes children and families.
This is a Permanent Part Time of 3 days per week – Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday offering. A hourly rate of pay between $62.14 and $86.28 (Step 1 – 9 Teachers Award) commensurate with teaching experience is offered.
Your Role
- Deliver engaging and developmentally appropriate learning experiences for Kindergarten children
- Foster a safe, inclusive, and nurturing classroom environment
- Support children’s social, emotional, spiritual, and educational development
- Build positive relationships with children, families, and colleagues
- Collaborate with a passionate and supportive team committed to excellence in early childhood education
- Participate in a spiritually vibrant culture aligned with the College’s Christian mission and values.
About You
- Practicing Christian with the ability to actively support and promote the College’s spiritual ethos
- Genuine passion for early childhood education and child development
- Teaching experience aligned with the Early Years Learning Framework, National Quality Framework and the Queensland Kindergarten Learning Guidelines
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Required:
- Bachelor of Education (Early Childhood) or ACECQA-approved equivalent (essential)
- Registration with the Queensland College of Teachers (essential)
- Working With Children Check (Blue Card – Exemption) (essential)
- National Child Safety Certificate (essential)
- First Aid, CPR, Asthma & Anaphylaxis certifications (essential).
