We are working with a federal government department that's looking for a Security Engineer to join their Cybersecurity Operations team asap.

Security Engineer – Federal Government | NV1 Required

Responsibilities

n

n
- Analysing which platform logs actually have security value and making sense of them
n
- Building monitoring use cases that target the most important risks
n
- Designing alarms and alerts to enable speedier response
n

n

Qualifications

n

n
- NV1 security clearance (or eligibility) – Australian citizenship required
n
- Robust regex skills and experience writing custom parsers
n
- A background in security analysis and monitoring
n
- Experience with SIEMs like Sentinel or LogRythm
n
- Familiarity with ISM/PSPF standards
n
