Hudson is partnering with a global software organisation in the retail sector used across thousands of stores worldwide. They are hiring for a sharp Engineering Manager to lead cross‐functional engineering teams delivering high-volume, transaction‐critical products, self‐service, mobile, and retail operations platforms. This is an opportunity to join a business shifting toward a modern engineering‐led operating model where Engineering owns delivery end to end.

Requirements

n
- A current Engineering Manager that has strong software engineering foundations with experience delivering production systems at scale
n
- Previous leadership experience as an Engineering Manager, Tech Lead, Staff Engineer, or senior engineer owning delivery outcomes
n
- Strong understanding of Agile delivery, SDLC, CI/CD, and up-to-date engineering practices
n
- Ability to lead technical discussions while communicating effectively with non‐technical stakeholders
n




- Comfortable operating in fast‐paced and evolving environments, navigating ambiguity and a start‐up up
n
- Someone that commercially applying AI tooling in engineering workflows, CI/CD, delivery, and productivity improvements
