We are seeking an experienced WHS Coordinator to join our Head Office team in Beresfield, NSW, and drive a positive safety culture across our branch network.

The Opportunity

n

Reporting to the WHSE, HR & Quality Manager, you will play a key role in driving and promoting a positive safety culture across all Reliable Conveyor Belt branches. Working closely with managers, supervisors and employees, you'll provide expert WHS advice, ensure legislative compliance, support continuous improvement initiatives, and help maintain the highest standards of workplace health and safety throughout the business.

The Role

n

As our WHS Coordinator, your responsibilities will include:

n

Implementing and maintaining our Work Health & Safety Management System

n

Providing practical WHS advice and support to managers and employees

n

Conducting workplace inspections, audits and risk assessments

n

Investigating incidents and monitoring corrective actions

n

Developing, reviewing and implementing WHS policies, procedures and systems

n

Maintaining WHS and incident reporting systems and ensuring accurate records are kept

n

Facilitating safety meetings and supporting workplace consultation

n

Assisting with contractor compliance and branch pre-qualification requirements

n

Supporting injury management and Return to Work processes

n

Travelling to branch locations to conduct inspections, provide support and promote best-practice safety initiatives.

What You Bring to the Team

n

We're looking for an experienced WHS professional who is proactive,



organised and committed to fostering a strong safety culture.

n

To be successful, you will have:

n

Certificate IV in Work Health & Safety (minimum), Diploma in WHS highly regarded

n

Experience in a WHS role, ideally with exposure to mine sites or heavy industrial environments

n

Sound knowledge of Australian WHS legislation and compliance requirements

n

Experience in incident investigation, risk management and safety systems

n

Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills

n

Strong report writing, organisational and problem-solving abilities

n

A current driver's licence and willingness to travel to branch locations as required
