We're looking for an experienced Emergency & Critical Care Nurse to join the dedicated team at Peninsula Vet Emergency & Referral Hospital. As part of our referral hospital team, you'll be at the heart of complex, high-acuity cases you won't find in general practice.

- 24/7 emergency and referral services across ECC, surgery, internal medicine, and anaesthesia

About the Role
n
n
- Part -time position ( 36 hours) , with a rotating roster of evenings, nights, and weekends
n
- Leadership opportunities available for experienced nurses ready to step up
n
- A quick-paced caseload where no two days are the same
n
- Work in a University of Melbourne teaching site, helping to train the next generation of veterinary professionals
n
n
About You
n
We're seeking a confident and committed ECC nurse who thrives in a busy, referral-level hospital environment.
n
You will have:
n
n
- Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing (or higher)
n
- At least 2–3 years of ECC or advanced GP experience
n
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
n
- A positive attitude, adaptability, and passion for patient advocacy
n
- Enthusiasm for continuous learning (and maybe even snacks and good vibes!)
n
n
