Trainee Mortgage Adviser

Liverpool – Whole of Market – Training & Progression Provided – £27,500 Basic Salary + Commission

An established and reputable independent financial advice firm is seeking a Trainee Mortgage Adviser to join its growing team. The business is committed to delivering clear, tailored mortgage and financial guidance, with a strong emphasis on long-term client relationships, professionalism, and transparent advice.

The Role

n

Working alongside experienced advisers, you will gain hands‐on exposure to the full mortgage advice process while building the knowledge and skills required to progress, including:

- Supporting cases from initial enquiry through to completion
n
- Assisting with fact‐finding, research, and preparation of recommendations
n
- Developing an understanding of whole‐of‐market mortgage and protection advice
n
- Supporting a range of cases including residential, buy‐to‐let, and remortgages
n
- Maintaining accurate and compliant client records in line with regulatory requirements
n
- Building and maintaining relationships with clients and introducers
n




- Actively working towards becoming a fully competent and qualified adviser
n

What We're Looking For

n

n
- CeMAP (or equivalent) qualified, or actively working towards completion
n
- Previous experience within financial services is beneficial but not essential
n
- A genuine interest in developing a career in mortgage and protection advice
n
- An understanding of regulatory standards and compliance expectations
n
- Robust organisational skills with excellent attention to detail
n
- A professional, client‐focused approach with strong communication skills
n
