Programmed Skilled Workforce is partnering with one of Australia's largest and most recognised retail distribution operations to recruit experienced Permanent Full-Time Zone Supervisors for their Warehouse Fulfilment Centre based in Truganina.

This is a permanent full-time leadership opportunity responsible for overseeing day-to-day warehouse operations, driving productivity, safety, quality and service outcomes across an allocated department.

n

Working closely with the Zone Manager, you'll lead a team of approximately 20-50 warehouse team members, providing hands-on leadership, coaching and support to ensure operational targets are achieved.

This is a genuine floor-based leadership role where you'll be actively involved in daily operations, solving problems in real time, improving processes and building a high-performing team culture.

Key Responsibilities

n

- Lead, coach and develop a team of warehouse operators.
n
- Provide visible leadership on the warehouse floor throughout the shift.
n
- Allocate labour and manage daily operational priorities.
n
- Monitor productivity, quality and safety performance.
n
- Drive achievement of KPIs, SLAs and operational targets.
n
- Support warehouse functions including picking, online fulfilment, packing, inbound, outbound, inventory and dispatch.
n
- Conduct team briefings, toolbox talks and safety discussions.
n
- Train and onboard new team members.
n
- Provide feedback, coaching and performance support.
n
- Identify opportunities to improve processes and operational efficiency.
n
- Use Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) for task allocation, reporting and workflow management.
n
- Escalate operational issues and provide updates to the Zone Manager.
n

Requirements Essential

n

n
- Previous experience supervising or leading warehouse, logistics or distribution teams.
n




- Experience managing teams within a fast-paced warehouse environment.
n
- Strong people leadership and coaching skills.
n
- Current Australian Driver's License.
n
- Current LF Forklift License.
n
- Experience working towards warehouse KPIs and productivity targets.
n
- Experience using Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).
n
- Robust communication, problem-solving and organisational skills.
n
- Sound understanding of workplace health and safety requirements.
n
- Full Australian working rights.
n

Highly Regarded

n

n
- Experience within retail, eCommerce or large-scale distribution environments.
n
- Exposure to highly automated warehouse operations.
n
- Experience using Manhattan WMS or similar systems.
n
- Lean Manufacturing or Continuous Improvement experience.
n
- Experience across multiple warehouse functions including picking, inbound, outbound or fulfilment.
n
