NSW Family Law Specialists is a well-established boutique family law firm based in Parramatta. We are seeking an experienced Family Lawyer with a minimum of 2 years post-admission experience in family law who is confident managing matters independently and delivering high-quality service to clients. This is an excellent opportunity for a lawyer who is looking to further develop their career in a supportive and professional environment while working on a broad range of parenting and property matters.

About the Role

You will be responsible for managing your own family law files from commencement through to resolution, with access to guidance and support from an Accredited Specialist in Family Law with over 20 years' experience.

Your responsibilities will include

- Running family law matters independently
- Managing client relationships and providing strategic advice
- Drafting court documents, affidavits, applications and correspondence
- Conducting negotiations and participating in mediations and conferences
- Appearing in the Federal Circuit and Family Court of Australia
- Working on a range of parenting, property and divorce matters
- Liaising with barristers, experts and other professionals

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have:




- Minimum 2 years post-admission experience practising predominantly in family law
- Strong knowledge of family law practice and procedure
- Ability to manage files with minimal supervision
- Excellent drafting, communication and organisational skills
- Strong attention to detail and client-focused approach
- Current Australian practising certificate
- Full Australian working rights
