About the role:
Join a highly regarded Corporate Advisory team and work closely with Partners and senior lawyers, advising a diverse client base on matters with a focus on Financial Services Regulation and Funds Management. Your work will include:
- Financial services regulatory and compliance advice
- Establishment, structuring and governance of investment funds
- AFSL and Australian Credit Licence matters
- Product disclosure statements and other offer documentation
- Investment management and commercial agreements
- Corporate transactions involving financial services businesses
- AML/CTF advice,
programs, independent evaluations and relief applications
- Payment systems and payment product regulation
- Fintech, digital assets, tokenisation and blockchain matters
The ideal candidate:
- Have 2–4 years’ PQE gained within a reputable law firm
- A genuine interest in developing your expertise in financial services and investment structures.
- Strong drafting, analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- A collaborative approach and strong attention to detail.
