About the Role

n

Senior Integration Engineer responsible for designing, building and evolving BDO's enterprise integration platform, delivering secure, reliable and observable integrations across legacy systems, SaaS platforms and the Modern Data & Analytics Platform (MDAP). The role combines hands‐on engineering with technical leadership, mentoring teammates and contributing to enterprise standards.

About the Team

n

Integrations team connects critical systems using up-to-date Azure-native patterns, focusing on reuse, quality and governance, and collaborates across Technology to support BDO's digital strategy.

Key Responsibilities

n

n
- Design, build and maintain integrations using Azure Integration Services.
n
- Apply API-first and event-driven principles, including contract-first design and robust error handling.
n
- Develop integrations for SaaS and enterprise platforms such as Workday and Dynamics 365.
n
- Contribute to and evolve integration standards, patterns and reusable components.
n
- Implement logging, metrics, tracing and correlation to ensure strong observability and supportability.
n
- Collaborate with Data Platform, BI, Cloud Engineering, Cloud Operations and Governance teams.
n
- Provide technical mentoring, conduct design and code reviews, and act as an escalation point.

Qualifications, Experience and Skills





n

n
- Tertiary qualification in IT, Computer Science, Software Engineering or equivalent experience.
n
- Significant experience designing and delivering Azure-native integrations in enterprise environments.
n
- Deep expertise in API Management, Logic Apps, Service Bus, Event Grid and Azure Functions.
n
- Strong understanding of security, identity and data governance in integration solutions.
n
- Proven ability to communicate technical concepts clearly and collaborate across teams.
n
