Job Opportunity: Emergency Medicine Physician – Senior Staff Specialist / Staff Specialist / Senior Medical Officer

We are seeking experienced and motivated Emergency Medicine Physicians to join a busy emergency department as a Senior Staff Specialist, Staff Specialist, or Senior Medical Officer.

Compensation

n

The total remuneration for this position can reach up to $610k per year (L27), which includes:

n

n
- A base salary per annum (L18 – L27)
n
- 12.75% employer superannuation contribution
n
- 17.5% leave loading
n
- Career development Allowance ($21,500 annually)
n
- Motor Vehicle Allowance
n
- Overtime and on-call allowances
n
- Emergency Department Specialty Allowance
n
- Attraction and Retention Incentive Allowance (including Private Practice opportunities)

The Facility

Join a busy regional emergency department, providing care to both adult and paediatric patients. With an annual presentation volume of 55,000 (25% paediatric), this 310-bed referral centre in Central Queensland offers a comprehensive range of services.

Requirements

n

n
- MBBS or equivalent and eligibility for registration with the Medical Board of Australia
n
- Fellowship of the Australasian College of Emergency Medicine (FACEM) and registration as a Specialist in Emergency Medicine with AHPRA
n
- ACEM trainees awaiting fellowship results are encouraged to apply
n
- Substantially Comparable outcomes for SIMGs are also welcomed
