Job Description
Project Coordinator (Vocational Education and Training)
n
ForestWorks is an industry owned not-for-profit organisation offering services to support the skills development of the forest, wood, paper, timber, furnishing and textile industries.
n
We work with businesses, government, industry associations, unions and the vocational education and training sector to assist our industries, their people, and enterprises in developing a highly skilled and qualified workforce.
n
Working in partnership with the Jobs and Skills Council (JSC), Skills Insight, ForestWorks provides industry stewardship, stakeholder engagement, workforce planning, research and project and product design and management services for the sectors we support.
n
We are seeking an experienced Project Coordinator to join our team, based in our Carlton VIC office. Reporting to the Project Manager, this role supports the successful planning, coordination and delivery of Jobs and Skills Council (JSC) and other government-funded projects and initiatives, working closely with industry stakeholders, government representatives, and internal project, research and stakeholder engagement staff.

What you'll be doing
n
Coordinate the planning, implementation and monitoring of projects and activities to align with contractual requirements and plans
n
Support the Project Manager in delivering project outcomes within agreed timelines, budgets and quality standards
n
Develop and maintain project plans, monitor project milestones and deliverables and escalated risks or issues where required
n
Support quality project documentation, including status reports, meeting and CRM records
n
Facilitate stakeholder communications and ensure timely dissemination of project information, updates and outcomes
n
Coordinate stakeholder feedback processes and ensure outcomes are documented and communicated appropriately
n
Prepare agendas, minutes, action registers and supporting documentation for project governance meetings and advisory groups
n
Maintain accurate project records, stakeholder databases and document management systems, ensuring appropriate storage and version control
n
Coordinate project meeting logistics and administrative activities
n
What we're looking for
n
Demonstrated experience coordinating projects, programs or initiatives in a complex stakeholder environment.
n
Experience and/or understanding of the vocational education and training (VET) sector, Jobs and Skills Councils and/or working with the MST, MSF, FWP or PPM Training Packages
n
Experience providing project administration, reporting and coordination support
n
Experience working with multiple stakeholders and managing competing priorities
n
Experience coordinating meetings, workshops, consultations or stakeholder engagement activities
n
Experience maintaining project documentation, records and reporting systems
n
Excellent written/verbal communication and organizational skills
n
High level attention to detail and commitment to quality outcomes
n
Sound problem solving and analytical skills
n
Proficiency in MS Office applications, Including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and Teams.
n
Experience using CRM, project management and document management systems
n
