Our West Elm & Pottery Barn Kids stores in Fortitude Valley are looking for a Sales & Service Lead (Sales & Service Key Holder) to create a unique shopping experience by providing exceptional customer service in a fast‐paced, specialty retail environment. This permanent, part‐time position offers 40 hours per fortnight with a fixed two‐week rotating roster, including alternate weekends.

What You Will Be Doing

n

n
- Deliver exceptional customer service and drive sales through product knowledge and support of in‐store design services.
n
- Complete operational tasks including opening and closing duties, register functions,



and compliance with company policies.
n
- Maintain visual merchandising standards and ensure the store is clean, well‐presented, and fully stocked.
n
- Assist with inventory management including receiving, replenishment, stockroom organisation, and WHS practices.
n
- Participate in training and development while supporting a collaborative, high‐performing team workplace.
n

n

What You Will Bring To The Role

n

n
- 1-2 years customer service experience (specialty retail preferred but not required).
n
- Strong sales skills with the confidence to meet and exceed performance targets.
n
- A proactive, solution‐focused attitude with the ability to multitask in a fast‐paced environment.
n
- High attention to detail.
n

n

Physical Requirements

n

n
- Ability to be mobile in the store and back‐of‐house areas, including standing for long periods.
n
- Ability to climb ladders and use other equipment in line with safety standards.
n
- Ability to lift and mobilise medium to large items, up to 30kg, while utilising appropriate equipment and safety techniques.
