The disputes practice is led by partners with elite top-tier experience and seeks an Associate or Junior Senior Associate to support a growing commercial litigation workload.

Responsibilities

n

- Work on a diverse mix of high-quality disputes (80% broad commercial litigation; 10–20% insolvency).
n
- Handle matters spanning corporate, commercial, IP, construction, property, and competition/consumer law.
n
- Be involved in cases ranging from mid-sized disputes to large-scale litigation, including several significant current matters.
n
- Collaborate directly with partners who have top-tier and international experience.
n
- Enjoy a balanced workflow without the pressure of business development, thanks to strong referrals from the firm's market-leading front-end practices.

Team & Practice

n

The firm operates with a team of 10 disputes lawyers and a dedicated admin support across the wider firm. Clients include ASX-listed corporations, private equity firms, SMEs and founders, government entities and not-for-profits, in industries such as technology, manufacturing, agriculture, digital innovation, property and mining.

Candidate Profile / Qualifications

n

n
- 3+ years' PAE in commercial litigation
n
- Lawyers considered up to Junior/Senior Associate Level or 8 years PAE
n
- Strong technical skills in dispute resolution and litigation
n
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
n
- Commercial acumen and client-focused approach
n
