SAP FICO Business Analyst

Location: Brisbane, QLD
n Contract: 13 months with potential extension

Are you a seasoned SAP FICO Business Analyst ready to make an impact on one of Australia's largest and most complex ERP transformation programs? This is an exciting opportunity to join a forward-thinking public sector organisation leading a major SAP S/4HANA implementation aimed at modernising financial systems, improving integration, and enhancing service delivery across a broad operational landscape.

Key Responsibilities

n

n
- Collaborate with finance and business stakeholders to define integration and process requirements.
n
- Analyse, document, and optimise processes related to revenue, banking, and accounts receivable.
n
- Contribute to solution design and workflow configuration to ensure accurate data posting in SAP S/4HANA.
n
- Partner with technical teams to validate data migration, transformation, and integration activities.
n
- Support testing, UAT, and go-live phases including cutover planning and issue resolution.
n
- Produce high-quality documentation, user guides, and training materials.
n
- Provide post-implementation support including reconciliation, audit readiness, and continuous improvement.
n

About You

n

n
- 5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst in financial systems or ERP environments.




n
- Robust knowledge of SAP FICO and experience with complex integration projects.
n
- Familiarity with SAP S/4HANA, Signavio, or process modelling tools.
n
- Proven ability to work with cross-functional teams in finance, revenue, and technology.
n
- Exceptional communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
n

Desirable

n

n
- Experience within large-scale financial transformation programs in the public sector.
n
- Knowledge of government financial compliance and reporting frameworks.
n
- Exposure to multi-release ERP programs and external revenue system integrations.
n
