The opportunity with us as a Senior Surveyor
We are looking for a Senior Surveyor to joinourhighperforming Melbourne team. Reporting to theMelbourneSurvey Manager,you will beexecuting precise surveying tasks on built-form construction projects. This role involvessetout,verification, as built and documentation of survey data to support engineering and construction projects.
You will be:
- Performingcalculations, set out, as-builts and verification tasks for structural elements, gridlines, and services on built-form projects.
- Providingaccurateplans, measurements, calculations, and reports to support engineering and construction teams.
- Managingsurvey equipment, software, and data management systems (e.g.Leica, AutoCAD, Civil 3D)
- Usingsurveying equipment (e.g.,
total stations, GPS, theodolites) to measure angles, distances, and elevation.
- Leading and mentor junior staff, fostering a culture of continuous learning and professional development aligned with company goals.
We’relooking for someone who has:
- University qualification or TAFE Diploma in Surveying.
- Aminimum of3 years of practical experience in construction surveying, specifically in high-rise or built-form projects.
- Extensive knowledgeofsurveying instruments and software (e.g., 12d software, AutoCAD, Leica Survey equipment)
- A valid driver’s license andWhiteCard.
- Experience in communicating with clients and understanding their requirements.
- Ability to multitask and work independently.
With this role,thesuccessful candidate must successfully pass pre-employment background and drug screening.Periodic drug testing may berequiredper company policy.
- Experience in major infrastructure, civil or commercial construction projects in Australia.
