About the Role

n

We're looking for a highly organised and proactive Logistics Allocator to join our Surfacing & Stabilisation team based in Bayswater, Victoria.

n

In this fast-paced role, you'll be responsible for coordinating daily asphalt demand, truck allocations and production schedules to ensure safe, efficient and customer-focused operations. Working closely with production teams, truck operators, supervisors and customers, you'll play a key role in keeping our projects moving and delivering exceptional service outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

n

n
- Coordinate daily truck allocations and dispatch activities.
n
- Develop and manage daily trucking rosters.
n
- Liaise with plant operators, supervisors and surfacing crews regarding daily production requirements.
n
- Monitor and manage real-time changes to customer requirements and delivery schedules.
n
- Dispatch asphalt loads to meet customer timing, mix and delivery requirements.
n
- Support production planning and logistics administration activities.
n
- Build strong working relationships with internal teams, transport providers and customers.
n
- Contribute to Downer's commitment to Zero Harm and secure work practices.
n

About You

n

n
- Previous experience in logistics, transport coordination, dispatch, scheduling or fleet allocation
n
- Strong organisational and problem-solving skills with the ability to manage competing priorities
n
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
n
- Sound computer literacy and administration experience
n
- Ability to work autonomously in a fast-paced operational environment
n
- Experience coordinating trucking fleets or transport operations will be highly regarded.
n
