Korn Ferry is helping a consumer health client in North Ryde to hire a full-time permanent Assistant Brand Manager in Sydney, Australia.

n

The Assistant Brand Manager is responsible for working with the Marketing Manager, to plan, prepare and execute marketing initiatives and develop internal and external relationships to successfully promote and drive the assigned portfolio.

n

Specific activities include:

n

The Assistant Brand Manager has responsibility for the successful execution of approved marketing plans and through this, the achievement of sales and market share goals for the portfolio.

n

· Facilitating the development and internal review of promotional and point of sale material for the product portfolio with internal and external stakeholders.

n

· Localisation of Global/International assets and campaigns as well as generate local specific materials.

n

· Develop technical expertise and create promotional materials and sales tools in alignment with global and regional marketing expectations.

n

· Execution of tactical plans and communication of plans to sales staff via meetings, department meetings and via written and verbal communication.

n

· Develop and assist in promotions at various trade shows, professional speaking events and customer training programs. Participation in local and national conferences in order to gain insight from customer, competitive insight and execution of marketing requirements.

· Support in the development and execution of customer surveys and market research for identification of market, customer and consumer trends in industry to facilitate the development of promotional and point of sale material comparing the product with key competitors.

n





· Implementation and management of media plans which includes liaising with agencies or publications directly to secure advertisements for publications. Preparation of advertising, media releases and editorial contribution or a variety of publications and support of customer specific promotions where necessary.

· Management of the day to day activities of the product portfolio including efficient and effective response to internal and external customer needs and to the needs of suppliers.

Education

n

n
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Commerce or Science
n

n

Experience requirements

n

• 3 years experience in marketing coordinator/assistant positions within consumer health / pharmaceutical / med device regulated environment

n

• Experience in both direct to consumer & healthcare professional marketing

n

• Prior experience in product launches

n

Preferred:

n

• Able to plan, develop, implement and evaluate marketing strategies for new and existing products.

n

• Possess good interpersonal and communication skills
