Our client, is a forward thinking family operation running a broadacre and lamb feedlotting operation. They are looking for an adaptable and experienced livestock hand to join their friendly team. The expanding feedlot operation is currently running 11,000 head with trade lambs being bought in from a variety of sources. This is a hands on role suited to someone who enjoys working with livestock and wants to be part of a friendly team.
The Role:
- Livestock handling
- Feeding and monitoring sheep
- Assisting with induction, drafting, and processing
- Desirable - Truck Licence
- Broad-acre farming experience desirable
- Feedlot and sheep experience
- Work well independently as well as in a team
- Have clean and tidy habits
- Working dogs
Located only 15km from friendly town of Lameroo which provides a full range of schooling and medical options, it is a great option for a family. A furnished renovated three bedroom house is on offer for the successful candidate. The friendly family run professional operation prides itself on efficiency and a supportive working setting.
