We are looking for a Locum Hospital Dietitian for an 8-week contract in a regional/outback location, approximately a 3-hour flight from Sydney.

This is a great opportunity for a Dietitian who is open to a short-term escape from city routine, while gaining unique experience in a supportive hospital environment.

Accommodation is provided, and $1,000 of return relocation costs is covered.

Role details

- 8-week locum contract
- Ideally commencing Monday 7th September
- Full-time hours
- Work hours are 8:00am to 4:21pm
- Hourly rate approx. $60–$75 per hour + Super
- Accommodation provided
- $1,000 of return relocation costs covered
- Opportunity for remote trips if desired

Key responsibilities

- Provide dietitian services across acute care, ICU, paediatrics, renal, surgical,



general medical, outpatients and gastro
- Support patients with PEG and IBD management
- Work within a multidisciplinary team
- Gain experience across eating disorders, motivational interviewing and cultural engagement

About you

- Acute care or renal experience
- APD status, or eligibility for Accredited Practising Dietitian status
- Team leadership experience preferred
- Driver’s licence preferred, but not essential
- Ability to work well within a multidisciplinary team
- Positive communication and organisation skills

This role would suit someone who is open to a true outback experience, with incredible landscapes, sunsets, stars and hiking.
