CAR30 Aviation Maintenance Organisation
Full-Time Position
We are looking for a reliable, switched-on and proactive Logistics Officer / Storeperson to join our aviation maintenance team.
This is an important role within our operation. In aviation, the right part, correct paperwork and accurate records matter. We need someone who takes pride in getting the details right, stays organised, and is prepared to take ownership and get things done.
About the role
Working closely with our maintenance and operational teams, you will be responsible for the efficient control, receipt, storage and issue of aircraft parts, components, tooling and consumables.
Key responsibilities
- Receiving and inspecting incoming aircraft parts, materials and supplies
- Checking part numbers, quantities, documentation and certification for accuracy
- Maintaining accurate inventory and stock records
- Picking, issuing and preparing parts and materials for maintenance activities
- Packaging and coordinating freight, couriers and deliveries
- Monitoring stock levels and assisting with replenishment and purchasing activities
- Maintaining orderly, clean and well-controlled stores areas
- Tracking parts, tooling and materials throughout the maintenance process
- Ensuring aviation components and materials are correctly identified, stored and handled
- Following company procedures and aviation regulatory requirements
About You We are particularly interested in someone who is a go-getter with exceptional attention to detail.
You will be the type of person who:
- Notices when something doesn't look right and investigates it
- Double-checks details rather than making assumptions
- Takes ownership of tasks and follows them through to completion
- Is highly organised and comfortable managing competing priorities
- Communicates clearly with engineers, suppliers, freight companies and other team members
- Enjoys working in a fast-paced, hands-on environment
- Can work independently while still being a solid team player
- Has good computer and data-entry skills
- Understands the importance of accurate records and traceability
Previous experience in aviation logistics, aircraft stores, warehousing, inventory control or maintenance support will be highly regarded. Experience with aviation parts, certification and regulatory requirements would be advantageous, but attitude, reliability and a willingness to learn are equally important. Why Join Us?
You will be joining a professional aviation maintenance organisation where logistics plays a direct role in keeping aircraft maintenance moving safely and efficiently.
We value people who take initiative, solve problems and care about doing the job properly. If you enjoy being busy, staying one step ahead and becoming the person the team can rely on to make things happen, we would like to hear from you.
Apply through SEEK with your resume and a brief cover letter outlining your relevant experience and why you would be a good fit for the role.
