We are looking for an experienced Electrical Engineer who is passionate about technology, enjoys solving complex problems, and thrives in a collaborative project environment.

The Role

Reporting to the Engineering Manager, the Electrical Engineer is responsible for the detailed design, development, commissioning, and ongoing support of electrical and control systems. You will work across the full project lifecycle, from concept and design through to testing, implementation, client training, and ongoing technical support.

This role provides an chance to work on diverse and technically challenging projects while supporting clients and contributing to the continued growth and success of the business.

Key Responsibilities

- Analyse client requirements and determine the feasibility of system designs within time and cost constraints.
- Design and develop electrical and control systems under the guidance of qualified engineering professionals.
- Conduct hardware and software analysis, testing, debugging, risk assessment, and reliability analysis.
- Develop, test, and support software applications and system integrations.
- Specify power supply requirements and system configurations.
- Evaluate emerging technologies and identify opportunities for implementation.
- Manage allocated projects and ensure deliverables are completed to a high standard.
- Configure, test, and commission systems on client sites.




- Integrate new systems with existing client infrastructure.
- Provide technical support and maintenance services under Service Level Agreements.
- Deliver client training and system documentation.
- Identify opportunities to improve client systems and expand service offerings.

Qualifications & Licences (Essential)

- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or related discipline.
- Minimum 5 years' experience in a built environment or industrial setting.
- Current Driver's Licence.

Highly Desirable

- Registered Professional Engineer Queensland (RPEQ).
- Experience with Schneider Electric software including PME, EPO, EBO and SCADA platforms.
- Experience with SQL databases, IoT devices, Modbus TCP and industrial networking technologies.

Skills, Attributes & Experience

- Strong knowledge of electrical engineering principles, metering and control systems.
- Experience using 2D and 3D CAD software and interpreting electrical drawings.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- High attention to detail and commitment to quality outcomes.
- Ability to work autonomously and manage competing priorities.
- Positive, professional attitude with a strong customer focus.

Customer Relationships

Build strong technical relationships with clients and stakeholders.

Provide expert advice and support to ensure exceptional customer outcomes.

Support the ongoing specification and implementation of Hexeis solutions within client projects.
